We had Nov 19 interview and that form was never asked but great info for future applicants.

Hi, sis. Do K1 applicants also need to submit DS-230? I thought it's not needed for K1 applicants. I need some confirmation about this.

As of Nov the New •K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions (English) (PDF - 285 KB) dated Nov 2012 says that we do need to submit 1 copy.

In the Sept one you did not need it.

Maybe someone that is going to Interview this wek can shed some light on this.

From glancing at that I would say the answer is NO, VJ is not up to date regarding the addition of the DS-230. But at least the link does go to a page on the embassy website that does get to the current letter.

I noticed other info that is out of wack also. Glad I never found that VJ info when I was doing the K-1 visa process.
