With provolone cheese and toasted?

Nah, I don't do cheese, but I'm thinking toasted flatbread with honey mustard...

Mustard on meatballs? You're definitely not Italian.

Then again, if my Mother ever found out I liked Subway meatballs, she'd probably excommunicate me from the family.

You got that right, I spent 3 years in Sicily, I don't do cheese so it was a hard tour, they put cheese in the water if you're not careful:)

I got my sandwhich right now and I'm about to destroy it!

A bigger question is why after all the deaths in Subways through the years, why don't they have barriers to prevent this. It would not be that expensive and it would be old technology. When the train stops the barriers slide back in front of the doors. OSHA whould shut me down if we had that big a hazard in our plant.

Sigh. I remember my days in Ukraine with fondness.

"Vasiliy, you would NEVER see this in the USA, a trolley track running immediately next to a childrens playground, no fence, no barrier!"

Why?

"It is unsafe for the children!"

Ukrainian children do not play on trolley tracks.

The first thing we need to do is socialize the legal profession. I am sure that all those that want socialized medicine will agree, we have a RIGHT to legal representation and it should be FREE for us. Put all the attorneys on civil servant status and pay them $36,000 per year. This will require Americans to become smarter, learn how to get themselves off a stuck escalator and not to walk in holes, fall on subway tracks etc.

I predict some casualities as the Darwin Theory kicks in.

Can't wait to get to Italy. My wife and I are in the beginning stages of planning a trip for 2015. I've got family in Naples and Calabria we're hoping to visit, and we want to get to Venice and Sicily too.

Few tips if you didn't know:)

Don't lock your doors or roll up you windows, best bet is to leave a few euro in your ash tray, this will save you the trouble of getting you car broken into(trust me it will happen)

They don't have a lot of traffic lights or stop signs, so be mindful on the road, over half of my command was involved in a car accident, I knew a dude was there two years, 4 accidents, but never a driver

You will probably be called Johnny by the italians, no disrespect, all Americans are Johnny to them

Dudes over there like to do the whole hugging and two kisses on the cheeks, just get ready for it

Most shops are closed between the hours of 1:pm to 4:pm this is called Riposo, I believe so do your shopping early morning or late in the evening

They dress seasonal, so depending on when you go will dictate what clothes they wear, so even though it's hot as hell in March they won't wear shorts until like June.

If you have any other things you want to know holla at me:)
