A bigger question is why after all the deaths in Subways through the years, why don't they have barriers to prevent this. It would not be that expensive and it would be old technology. When the train stops the barriers slide back in front of the doors. OSHA whould shut me down if we had that big a hazard in our plant.

They priced them about a year ago and decided not to install them. Its a Ford Pinto decision basically.

We should ban subways.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Did anyone notice that not one single person tried to help the guy off the tracks and back up on the platform? NYC hospitality anyone?

They were too busy taking iPhone videos to post on YouTube.

Sad but true. Today's society is pretty messed up.

I didn't know that falling in front of sandwich shop franchises was so dangerous! The title might have made sense if it referred instead to 's'ubways rather than 'S'ubway! And the grammar would have been better if it referred to falling in front of a subway train!

He didn't fall in front of a train. He was pushed. There is a difference.

So if he didn't fall after he was pushed how did he get down there?!

I get what you are trying to say. I was just responding to the wording of the subject heading. So maybe it should have said, Man dies after being pushed and falling in front of subway train!
