I am applying for AOS. I don't have a vaccination record. The doctors over here in California say that there is a whole package that includes physical exams plus the cost of vaccination and that is average $200. I was just wondering that since vaccination includes Hepatitus shot, wouldn't the person would have to wait for 6 months for the second one?

I think your concern is not finishing your vaccinations (because it takes 6 months for Hep shots) before AOS interview occurs? As long as you start the process before the interview, they'll understand and therefore it shouldn't be a problem.

At the moment the USCIS page is down for all the vaccinations needed ... I am going to keep trying to find the list here on this website... there were a few really good ones including the age restrictions etc and if/when I find one will post it for you.

Exactly. The Civil Surgeon will indicate what vaccinations you need and the fact that you have started the Hepatitis steps. Not a problem. ($200 is a great price for everything based on my research!)

this is the London website for the vaccination list... may not be completely accurate but is the only one I can find at the moment that will at least help if you havent had all of the ones until you can talk to a CS

http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/...ccinechart.html

You can either get the vaccinations you need from the CS or Im not sure but if you have insurance you might want to check into costs from your local Doc or medical center. Just make sure that you get a vaccination card for proof...

Others may be able to give a bit more info regarding having them done here... good luck!

I-693 FAQs:

The required vaccination are: mumps, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus, diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, influenza type B, hepatitis B, and any other vaccinations recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP). Current ACIP recommendations also include the varicella, haemophilius inlfuenzae type B, and pneumococcal vaccines. The civil surgeon will review your vaccination history with you to determine whether you have all the required vaccinations. Make sure you take your vaccination records with you to your appointment with the civil surgeon. Do not try to comply with these requirements before you meet with the civil surgeon, in case it is not medically appropriate for you to have one or more of the required vaccines. For more information about the vaccination requirements, including information about waivers and exceptions for orphans, see "Vaccination Requirements for Immigrant Visa Applicants and Adjustment of Status Applicants".

we paid $150 for the Civil Surgeon (she is my current doctor) including the one shot he needed (the second part of tetanus i think...) and shelled out $65 for another XRAY. the Civil Surgeon will not take XRAY report/result from St. Luke's med in the Philippines and she says, our two options are to have the XRAY read here and send her the report or get another new XRAY. well, the radiology center that she referred us to will not read XRAY films that are not from there facility...so we really only had ONE option...do another XRAY so that the Civil Surgeon will sign off our medical supplemental form and hand us our SEALED envelope. so yeah...total cost is $215.

200 bucks is within the ballpark.

Fate is building a bridge of chance for the one you love...

Why they told my wife to get only MMR and Tetanus vaccination. She is here on k-3 and is 29 years old and they told her that she did not need hepatitis or any other vaccine.

The other funny part is that as we were planning to make appointment for the vaccination we found out that she is pregnant and now we are sending her application without vaccination. I dont know how it gonna play out. It may have some implications on the process i assume !
