It all depends on which service center the petition was sent to, and when in August he filed the petition. When did he get his I-797C? What priority date does it say? Which service center were you sent to?

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Timeline

You will not be getting a K-3 visa - It will be a CR-1. The processing time can vary from 6 months to about a year. 9 months should be expected.

Assuming the I-130 was not sent to Vermont before August 15th.

the vermont service center have recive our i-130 on 16 september2012 ,i dont know how many time we must wait because i am very strésse and i want to be with my husband

My understanding is that for permanent residents, the visa has to become available first, so the wait is much longer than for citizens

Hi, I am Algerian and I live in the US and my fiance lives in Algeria. We filed for i129f not i130 but they are very similar. It shouldn't take too long 7anouna just be patient. You should at least expect it to take about 6 months. I know it sounds like a long time but it will go by very fast inshaAllah. Message me if you have questions or just need someone to talk to :)

he husband is not a citizen he is a permanent resident, the wait is about 2.5 years
