follow this link http://jordan.usemba...s_required.html. it is EVERYTHING required on the day of the interview in Amman, double and triple check this list. You need to bring everything on this list, follow it exactly as they ask for everything. I was at the interview in Amman with my husband. And FYI we had everything on this list exactly as they wanted and my husband still had AP. AP is far more than missing documents, we were not asked for anything < Be prepared for AP, it is very common for this consulate.

Even if you bring everything and follow all the instructions to the letter it doesn't mean that you will avoid AP. AP doesn't have to do with the petition itself, ie proving your relationship, it's extra background checks and security.

sometimes AP is because of missing documents, not just security checks.

the reason you have to bring the originals to the interview is because you only sent scanned copies to the NVC and the consulate wants to see the originals. We have no idea why my husband was put into AP, we were never told. I am assuming it was name checks as he has a very very common last name. We were never asked for any additional evidence or pictures at the interview, and we were not asked for any additional documents. Make sure your husband gets the certificate of personal information at the Civil Service Department in the area he lives, Amman just added this to the list recently, and they do require it at the interview, but the NVC does not require it. Everyone at the consulate is friendly and helpful, but the CO means business. There is nothing you can do to avoid or expedite AP if it's name checks. Good luck!!

can I ask you what your husbands last name is? My husband has a very common first name Mohammad but its spelled Mohd on all his legal documents last name Oqdeh....how long were you in AP for yeah I saw that on the list I told my husband today and what kinds of questions did they ask? And when was your interview recently? Sorry sooo many questions just trying to get a perspective on this whole thing...some dont get AP so I am hoping we get lucky

I would rather not post his last name. His middle name is Mohammad, abbreviated Mohd too. His last name is very common, just trust me. His interview was in July, he arrived here in October. If you look at my profile you can see my review for the interview and questions asked.
