Horrific 'bow and arrow' murder-suicide in community college classroom as man kills teacher then himself minutes after murdering woman in the street

Man kills faculty member, 'student aged' female and then himself at small Wyoming community college

Attacker apparently used a 'bow and arrow type' weapon

Police say all three dead knew each other but have not suggested a motive

A Wyoming community college has been hit by a tragic murder-suicide after a man killed a teacher then himself in front of students in the classroom using some sort of 'bow-and-arrow-type' weapon.

The killer had previously murdered a woman in the street about two miles away before storming into a science building on the campus of Casper College.

The classroom killing prompted a college-wide lockdown as police attempted to ensure that it did not spiral into yet another campus massacre.

US media has been just as bad. I read an article recently that highlighted the fact it was a "compound bow" rather than a "regular wooden bow" meant to kill. I half expected to see comments at the bottom of the article declaring people don't need compound bows and hunters can use long bows etc.

this article is a little old. the man killed his dad (the teacher) and his dad's girlfriend (and i don't believe she was student age but in her forties) and then himself.

here's an article with more info. seems like the son had issues. the type of weapon used is of little consequence.

You can't be serious. Without guns, people wouldn't kill each other. Just ask Bob Costas or Jason Whitlock. You have to blame the inanimate objects or else nobody will take you seriously. Guns kill.
