held by the prosecution during discovery?

This is a photo of George Zimmerman taken by a police officer on the night of February 26, 2012. A black and white photocopy of this image was provided by the State in the first Discovery. This high-resolution digital file was finally provided to the defense on October 29, 2012. This image was disclosed in the State’s 9th Supplemental Discovery. In accordance with the updates to our media policy that we published on November 13, we will be making all public documents related to the case available on our website, including the rest of the State’s 9th Supplemental Discovery as soon as we are sure it has been properly redacted according to the Court’s stipulations on protecting information regarding specific witnesses.

Weird. Remember when there was some question whether Zimmerman was really injured that night? Whether his story matched up with the evidence? Remember how the people conducting Zimmerman’s trial by media assumed he made it all up?

Well, I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason we haven’t seen this photograph until now. I have no idea what it could possibly be, but I’m sure it’s really good.

Huh? We've seen pictures of him injured before.

The other guy, despite being a thug, wasn't smart enough to be packing heat that night.

Afterall, he wasn't going somewhere as dangerous as Target, like Zimmerman was.

Instead of calling 911, Trayvon physically attacked Zimmerman and thus put both of their lives in danger. If Trayvon was really scared for his well being he would have taken the proper steps instead of physically attacking Zimmerman. Zimmerman was left with no other alternative but to defend his life.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Interesting how you skipped right over the part where the cops told Zimmerman to stay put.

Zimmerman shouldn't have been playing cop and following someone around for no reason. He called the cops, he should have let them do their job. But no. He was a badass neighborhood watch volunteer.

I find it hard to believe that the one person in the situation who was carrying a gun and KNEW he had a gun was the one who was terrified for his life.

Jeebus! Nobody ever said Zimm was not a glass jawed mamby-pamby. How does this photo change Z's foolish actions the night he confronted and killed the teenager?

If you aggressively pursue someone, even an animal, then natural instincts kick in, and adrenalin surges through the blood stream, shutting all functions down, except those needed for immediate survival, focusing the mind on one decision only, fight or flight. Take away the ability to escape, that leaves one probable outcome -- the prey will turn and attack its pursuer.

I guess Zimmerman thought everybody reacts like the helpless women he attacked in the past, even though he still needed a firearm to make him feel confident enough to bully everybody that came into the neighborhood.

Too bad Zimmerman decided to take a gun, looks like he would have ended up with a broken nose and everyone would still be alive today. It's a shame that people can't fight with their hands anymore.

Absolutely not. He had a gun, so he used it.

Why be a man and return in kind when you can hide behind a gun and shoot an unarmed person?!?!?!?

Badass hardly. He had a gun, the other guy didn't. Sounds more like a wimpy coward....
