that is to say, that it gives the people sitting in a parking lot a feeling of power to subject an environment to their individual taste in music. that it is a primitive dominance behaviour, like a lion roaring on the plain? let's look at this from a sociological perspective.

When I was in high school, we used to sit in the park and blast music while we pondered on the unfairness of life and the misery of the human condition. Blasting "Primary" from a Sony boombox while we chain smoked and chugged diet coke wasn't meant to show dominance but was instead an expression of our vague fumblings towards existentialism. Plus we wanted to show how cool we were. But nobody's ever really afraid of the Goth-lite kids.

bahaha. yep..i was doing the same, but with a little skinny puppy thrown in. also there were only about five or ten of us goth kids at most. we spent a good majority of our time trying to look scary so the jocks would leave us the hell alone (out of fear).

Thanks, but unfortunately my stomach was not. I felt the after affects for quite a while.

Old Aerosmith is da bomb, they lost it with "Pump" and never really got it back. Listening to 70 something Steven Tyler completely butcher songs these days is sad.
