Why do people in general do the things they do? Why do people talk loudly or use their cell phones in movie theaters? Why do some people park like assh*les and take up two spaces? Why do some people bring 20 items up to the "10 Items or Less" line?

Simple answer: some people are obnoxious.

Who here, as a teenager, didn't do something that annoyed adults?

Same reason some people talk louder than is necessary for the hearing of others and some embellish stories of their sexual conquests more than is necessary for others to realize how totally awesome they must be.

In a parking lot over the weekend, my husband and I were walking to a store.

A father told his child (couldn't have been more than 5) to be careful where he was walking because he nearly got hit by a car that was backing out of a parking space. The kid asked why he had to be careful. The father yelled, in the direction of the car "Because around the holidays, all of these f*cking people act like f*cking douchebags and you have to watch out."

Adults can be just as annoying and inappropriate in public.

besides, some music is more fun loud. some music is more fun less loud. and some music is more fun barely audible with the lights real low.......

Picture this, 1974 Ford Gran Torino Sport, bucket seats, 8-track player, 100 watt equalizer and Jensen tri-axials in the back. Those were the days.

And I can't forget the white wall bias ply tires. Couldn't afford radials back then.
