I just brought a new S3 yesterday and still learning how to configured emails on my cell and guess what's my first Good news when I woke up today? Email from USCIS that we're approved! wooohoooo, will surely gonna use it this time, the last time we got approve we not take action or file for immigrant visa until 4 yrs and our petition was destroyed and terminated after 1 yr of approval, now excited to go to the next step!!!! thanx VJ!!!

Now my question is, we supposed to file K3 & K4 because i have a daughter from previous relationship, now its the i-130 that got approved that means i can't bring my daughter? now we're worried, or can we file separate Direct consular filing in Manila embassy for her? For those who have experienced with DCF how long does it take? W're excited to move to US but not without her. Can my husband file through mail in manila embassy, he just broke his leg and on his walker and can't travel.

Or should we just wait and continue on our K3? Confused please help!!!

i know i know we should have think this before sending our papers, but now we need help!

to chase after a K-4, an I-130 should be filed on the child.

However, file an I-130 now on the child, and slow down YOUR casefile at NVC until the child's casefile catches up.

The old trick of filing just one I-130 and one I-129F when there's a child involved, doesn't work anymore. You would have had to file two I-130s initially, regardless.

So, file a new I-130 on the child, wait for it to catch up to your casefile at NVC, then do some processing at NVC on both casefiles.
