Hello VJ community! :)

I'm a newbie here, Guess I posted my question at the wrong place. Re-posting here.

My question is, What if someone like me did not send any photographs/joint bank acc/insurance documents with their AOS application? My lawyer applied on our behalf, and he never spoke about any additional evidence required to prove that the relationship is bona fide( Among the other things that he never mentioned  ). He'd said that we would only require additional stuff at the time of the interview. :bonk:

What if you just sent a plain boring application, with the forms(I-130, I-485 and I-765) and a marriage certificate? Is there anything you can do later? It almost seems like an irony because we do have plenty of evidence- photos/joint bank accounts/leases on our names,as we lived together for 2 years before marriage.

I already have my fingerprinting scheduled for 12/18. Should I be worried? Any advice/suggestions,please? :help:

USCIS doesn't expect much, if any, evidence if you filed for adjustment of status shortly after your marriage. You will be expected to present evidence at your interview, so start gathering it. It's possible (though unlikely) that you could get an RFE asking for such evidence before the interview - if so, just submit it then.

Spouse-based AOS from out-of-status H-1B, May - Aug 2012

Removal of conditions, Aug - Nov 2014

The I-130 has requirements, not the I-485, where you are supposed to be sending supporting relationship documents. It's listed in the instructions.

You will most likely receive an RFE for relationship evidence. Have it ready.

Yes I did file AOS shortly after I got married. However, It almost seems like an irony because we do have plenty of evidence- photos/joint bank accounts/leases on our names,as we lived together for 2 years before marriage.

May be I'm just unnecessarily worrying about it. You're absolutely right though. I better start gathering.
