Guys,

I see a lot of folks who were assigned with the California Service Center getting their I-130 approvals even though they filed it in August or September. I on the other hand had submitted by case in July and am yet to hear anything. I just called USCIS and they said that the California Service Center is currently working on June 14th cases. This just doesnt make sense to me. Am I missing something here?

Those cases filed after mid August have been transferred to the National Benefits Center. These cases are being approved very quickly. If you see people with CSC in their timelines for September it is likely that they were initially assigned to CSC and then the case was transferred to MSC (National Benefits Center).

Oh I see. Well good for them... Cant do much but wait ...

I feel your pain as I watch people from other countries get DCF and when I seemed to miss the boat on those resided abroad getting auto-expedited. :wacko:

This process is really random!

I just receievd my NOA1 with an MSC number, does this mean I will receieve my NOA2 relatively quickly? :dance:

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!

September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
