Hi, I'm new in this forum and would like to ask what does it means by 5 month processing. When I look at the processing times in USCIS website for K1 Visa it always say 5 months for CSC. I filed my I-129F last week of August 2012 with a receipt date of Sept. 1, 2012. It's been 90 days since I filed my petition, shouldn't I receive a NOA2 by now or it will take 5 months before you can receive your NOA2.

Yes, it will more than likely be at least 5 months.

Fill out your timeline and it will give you an approximate date that you can expect your NOA2

You are looking at the processing to approve a I-129F, not to get the whole visa. Getting an approved I-129F is just the first step, and that portion of the whole journey should take around 5 months.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Yes, from your NOA1 to NOA2 the processing time takes 5 months but in other visa center like Vermont its 5 months or so.

Hang in there :)

Nothing in this world worth having comes easy.

yup, five months for VSC or CSC to get to your case and review it, along with getting the criminal background checks done. Once that is done then you get your NOA2. More wait for embassy interview to get your actual visa in hand.

Estimates/Stats : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between February 24, 2013 and March 8, 2013*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.
