Anyone did power of attorney and living will before for ROC? I was hoping to get some guidance from community here about those two things. Where can I go do that? And whether or not there are fees involved? OUrs are not complicated case so we were hoping to do them our own to prevent attorney fees.

What are the differences between the two as well? I just wanna be sure if accident happens, I got everything taken care for my wife & family.

I did a Power of Attorney (POA) but that was for the purchase of our house and we had an attorney do it.

Most of the time attorney's fees are around $150-$200 for those documents, depending on the complexity. It certainly wouldn't get them done anywhere else other than an attorney as the validity of those documents CAN be challenged in court (by family members who want a piece of the pie or other such things) and an attorney would typically be asked to attend court to swear you were of "sound mind" (sometimes they sign something and put it in the file, sometime they write an affidavit etc etc) when you requested and signed the document. A website such as legalxoom cannot prove you were of sound mind because it doesn't know for sure it was you who did it, doesn't know for sure what sort of mind you were in at the time.

If you are doing them just for USCIS, then use legalxoom or whatever. If you're doing them honestly for peace of mind, see a reputable attorney. Give them a call and find out the fees.
