Liberals and their oversimplified logic, sheesh!

Liberal? You are barking up the wrong tree sparky. LOL

 See what we have to put with?

Well to be fair - I'm waiting for him to come back and explain the complex geopolitics of the middle east based on his extensive knowledge of the region.

I don't know about you but "Islamo-fascists" (which is little more than an 21st century update of Yellow Peril) doesn't cut it for me, nor do stale comparisons with WW2.

Better pull up a chair and get comfortable. Seems to me you'll be waiting awhile. ;)

Oh I think so - but considering the guy doesn't seem to have much of a handle on what is going on in his own country, I think its a tall order. But we'll see - I mean I'm open to the possibility that I might win the lottery tomorrow

First Saddam was made out to be Hitler and now the guy in Iran is being made out to be Hitler. If either one invades Poland or starts doing air raids on London then maybe I'll start to believe it, until then it just some boogyman created by neocons.

Don't forget about the accusations that opponents of GWB are painting 'him' like Hitler. Seems the guy gets about ;)

I still have trouble getting around Bush's comparison of Osama Bin Laden to Adolf Hitler AND Lenin. That really was a stinker.

Leading conservatives have been challenging President George W Bush's conduct of the war.

Former Pentagon adviser Richard Perle, who was originally in favour of the invasion, has said US policy in Iraq has turned into a disaster.

He told Vanity Fair magazine that if he had been able to see how the war would develop, he probably would not have advocated the invasion to depose Saddam.

...worth noting. That Richard Perle...what an appeaser to Saddam's regime.

Whenever I saw that guy on TV he, like Cheney, had the air of a deeply unpleasant person.

NICE making decisions BASED on AIR? Very intelligent way of judging.

Decision - try "opinion". Then tell me that you don't judge others by how they come across to you in their interactions with others.

If you have an objection to my opinions - at least object to them with some substance and not solely based on petty dislike. You're a grown man for God's sake - stop acting like a ###### child.

Nice to say you wouldn't have done it and it didn't work because Bush screwed things up after you were one of the big instigators for doing it. Yeah Bush screwed up, by listening to your dumb @ss.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Perle

Like many in the neoconservative movement, Richard Perle had long been an advocate of regime change in Iraq. He was a signatory of the January 26, 1998 PNAC Letter sent to US President Bill Clinton. This letter called for the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime using both diplomatic and military means.

Perle advocated invading Iraq with only 40,000 troops, and complained about the calls by then Gen. Eric Shinseki to use 250,000 troops.

In a Vanity Fair article published online in November 2006, Perle expressed regret of his support of the Iraq invasion and he faulted the "dysfunction" in the Bush administration for the troubled occupation. "I probably would have said, 'Let's consider other strategies for dealing with the thing that concerns us most, which is Saddam supplying weapons of mass destruction to terrorists'," he told the magazine. "The decisions did not get made that should have been. They didn't get made in a timely fashion, and the differences were argued out endlessly." He added, "At the end of the day, you have to hold the president responsible."
