There is no statute of limitations on murder crimes against humanity . You know when you try to change the subject like your trying to do here, really is quite telling. I dont really think you got it in you to make anyone a shoeshine boy.

SPARKY? Must have it a nerve? Kleenex anyone?

there, much better.

Thanks Charles, Back to powndville

Torture Methods in Iraq

Medical experimentation

Beatings

Crucifixion

Hammering nails into the fingers and hands

Amputating the ####### or breasts with an electric carving knife

Spraying insecticides into a victim’s eyes

Branding with a hot iron

Committing rape while the victim’s spouse is forced to watch

Pouring boiling water into a rectum

Nailing the tongue to a wooden board

Extracting teeth with pliers

Using bees and scorpions to sting naked children in front of their parents

edit-sorry to folks who already may have said this

also of note - i've personally seen former soldiers of iraq (i was in northern iraq in 1996) who had deserted the iraqi army, and some of these individuals had only one ear, one had no ears. why? because if the iraqi soldier did not follow orders, off came an ear.

no i don't have a clue what happened if they disobeyed orders for the third time.........

[While I was in Bosnia I was briefly moved to Zenica from Tuzla and that's where the Turkish Brigade was...]

if the punishment is like theirs...well, you fill in the gaps....I remember being told that the Turkish Platoon Commander could execute a maximum of 3 of his own men a month

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

When did he become a tyrant? 1984? 1990? Pick a date, Marc.

does it matter? or are we gonna get into that when was he a tyrant and when did he know it routine?

Just a ploy to avoid the comment.

What's that over there????? *runs*

I think errr hmmm, Steve was for it before he was against it, sound familiar?

Oh! and the Rumsfeld handshake bullshiTE statement, Steven do you look the same as you did 10 years ago? I think not. Time changes things dont they. hmmmmmm

Okay, Sparky. Tell me about Saddam's charges brought against him in the trial. Go on and tell me what specific charges that he's going to be found guilty of. Was it 5 years ago? 10 years ago?

I'm not going to entertain your anti-American BS logic that because I think the Iraq war was wrong, that I appease what Saddam had done.

You tell me, Lisa. Is that how you're reading me? Sheesh. Marc implied that if someone opposed the invasion of Iraq that they must not think Saddam was a bad guy. What a load of ####### and you both know it.

Really? What dialogue are you trying to have? It appears that you're hellbent on making it look like those who oppose the war are Saddam appeasers. Sorry, but I'm not taking the bait. If you want an honest dialogue about Saddam's crimes or his sentence then stop the baiting.

Answer my question, then. Do you think that those who opposed the war in Iraq are Saddam appeasers?

How can they follow orders if they have no ears? Do they get them in writing? :o

I think you're all short-sighted with a not-so-great memory, tbh. Appeasers? Well, if you are against the war, he'd still be in power, no?

Are you an appeaser?

300 billion and how many dead and wounded later how would that be worse. Saddam never did anything to threaten the U.S. and the 9/11 report proved it.

Are you an appeaser?

If you can't see the flawed logic in that type of thinking then it's pointless arguing with you.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but when there are reports that he's broken sanctions, warnings from world leaders, politicians on both sides with very long histories of supporting action, etc...I'm sorry, but what do you think he was doing? Knitting us a quilt?

I don't want to oversimplify things, but it's great to be monday morning quarterbacking after the fact...but here's some history

http://scaryjohnkerry.com/wmd.htm

Watch it...then comment on how it's the 'evil Bush machine' that forced these people to make these comments long before he ever stepped foot in the white house. Then call him the biggest idiot that ever lived, all the while being able to convince the whole world of a lie, and being able to master time travel ;)
