Ok so my hubby is active duty and set to deploy to Afghanistan sometime in 2013. We just filed removal of conditions approx. 2 weeks ago. I did not mention he was military nor did I mention his upcoming deployment.

Should I have? And what can I do now that the whole package is in CSC?

Thanks for any advice/information.

Oh I did - I included a copy of my DEERS card and his military ID. I also included a letter from his command in regards to a deployment in 2013, I just did not ask for it to be expedited because I always thought you could only have expedited service *if* your spouse had an imminent deployment.

So you did mention he was military and that he was being deployed. You just have not asked for anything to be expedited because of it. It's up to you if you want to do so. I'm not sure how long ROC takes or if your husband needs to be present in the USA during that time.
