I know there's a few Polish couples on here that went through this process, what questions should we expect from the interviewer? I remember seeing one of you say there were only about 3 questions, and it seemed as if heir decision was already made before the interview even started. Can't find who wrote this, so i figured I'd ask.

Time Line:

April 13th 2012 Vermont Service Center received our application. (e-notification)
April 20th NoA1 received in mail.
October 17th 2012 Our petition was accepted (e-notification)
October 25th 2012 NoA2 received in mail. (Two actually, one dated the 17th one dated the 18th?)
November 5th Fiancee in Poland received packet from US Embassy in Warsaw, Poland.
November 7th Fiancee filled what needed to be filled out and sent the packet out
Late November: Medical exam, I sent her a packet with things she needed from me for the Interview
December 4th Jaga had her interview in Warsaw Poland! We got the visa :D
December 9th jaga picked up her visa in Bielsko-Biała :)

umm... havent updated this but she has her green card, us drivers license, and is in the process of getting her masters degree recognized here in the us.

My wife interviewed in Warsaw. Each and every interview is different. She got grilled for over half an hour. Others a few questions and that was it. It is entirely up to the CO and what concerns, if any, they may have. And yes, sometimes their decisions may have some premeditation based upon the docs in front of them. Little you can do about it.

That would be us (Gosia/Tito)

And yes 3 questions. If she knew where I work, If she had been at my house and How did we communicate. This last needs some explanation: it happens to be that I am originally South American, thus Spanish is my native language. Besides English, I can do French, Italian, Portuguese, some basic to average German and Swedish. My now wife speaks Polish, Russian, German (much better than me) and Dutch; her English was not as good when we first met. So it was an obvious question. The answer (which is how we actually did it) was, a mix of English, German, Polish and Spanish. That said, we had discovered earlier that Polish and Spanish are much closer than most would think.

We had met 4-5 times before the interview. Other than that, we submitted pics, itineraries, and the usual.

It seemed they had already made a decision and the questions were only last check.

Other couples we were in touch that had interviews about same time mentioned similar basic questions.

Hope this helps

My wife didn't have many questions either, she basically walked in brought her stuff and went up to the window for the questions. I think that it took a total of 10 minutes. I think if you have plenty of documentation and other information it's easy. There are not many U.S. - Polish partnerships that go through the embassy so I would assume that they wouldn't think fraud and just want to process the visa. Good luck, I know that she will do fine.

Make sure your fiance knows all about all those other wives of your and all those children out there and all those felony convictions !!!

Some interviews go quick and other don't go so.

Some COs like to ask purposefully false questions to gauge reaction.
