Hi,

I know people in the UK have a 3 month limit for how long they can stay in the states on their normal tourist visa. My question is, can he come over here and stay with me for three months, in the same year he will be coming over with the K-1 visa, and then still get to stay 90 days before we have to get married? Or will those 90 days be used up because he was here that long earlier in the year? Any info on this is appreciated, thanks so much!!

The I-94 with the time limit of 90 days that is given when you enter with a K-1 is separate from entering with the VWP or tourist visa. Entering with a visa is different than entering with a tourist visa or using the VWP. The 90 days given when you enter with a K-1 is not for the purpose of visiting.
