can I suggest something? it has a 50-50 chance of working? My cousin's visa was in ap for a year and half (her mom applied for her). Nobody was telling her anything and there seemed to be no updates. They weren't answering our calls and not giving us any information in emails sent to ustravelsdoc.com. I sent a detailed email to cis.ndi@dhs.gov and it took them about a week to reply but she was able to go pick up her visa immediately.

But at same time when I emailed for my sister-in-law couple weeks ago they told me to wait.

so try your luck?

Thank u so much Rimpz .. I am definitely going to try emailing them... but whos email id is this?

its the new delhi embassy email id. It was on the papers they gave my cousin, along with their phone numbers. I believe its tier 2, after ustraveldocs. Because every time they email us back, they delete all the important numbers like case numbers and stuff. if that makes sense? you know to protect information.

from what I heard aren't all ap's sent to new delhi? either way the embassy should have a record of you. If not they well send you the email to email mumbia with their contact info.

I don't have to delete the important facts because the embassy did for me. they are way more professional then ustraveldocs.

No problem dude, I know how you feel. I literally spend all day on this website looking for hope. A way to just make this separation pain end. And the truth is we never know what one thing is going to be the one to give us answers. All we can do is keep trying, waiting and praying. Good luck.

well AdiV, every day I am getting the same stupid replies from them...no status update.. it is been one month..:(

Hi Payal

My case status was updated today and it has now changed to 'ready' - pre interview status like yours. This is so frustrating. Past 60 days since I submitted the documents.!!

I think your going to get your visa this week. Either tuesday or friday. I have a feeling thats what your ready means, since it changed after the 60 days. Best of luck

After all we have been through, I am being pessimistic about the whole thing. I tried mailing supportindia and there isn't any reply from them. And I called the contact no given in the mumbai consulate and there seems to be no option to talk to a operator..
