Forum ppl,

So, I finally read the letter my wife received and its asking for an "updated medical report" but it does NOT say DO NOT submit the passport either. So, we will submit the passport along with the new medical and hopefully it will be done in March. I hope they will issue the visa as soon as they receive the new medical report

CONGRATULATIONS

Dinank, once you submit report you will get your visa...don't worry

Hi SP1991,

I have one question to you:

Yours status was showing Ready right earlier and then it changed to " Issued"....Because mine status is still showing Ready...

Correct me if i am wrong!

after interview it was ready on 31 jan....then on 5th feb , status update changed. status remained same " ready " . then on 14 feb again status update changed .then on 15 feb status changed to " administrative processing " at approx 10 am.. then on 12 pm. status changed to "issued" .

we been in ap in new delhi for exactly a month now for no reason. When is this going to end? Should I get a senator involved? Like if we were asked to submit something I would understood but nothing of the sorts. The paper we were given said mandatory processing should take 3-4 weeks. Now its over 4 weeks and I want an answer :(. what to do? They kept the passport but after reading some of the stuff in this topic, I am afraid they might send it out without a visa. I would just die if that happens. why us?

it's not just you,, everybody here are stuck with AP so dont worry ,,and just waiting and thinking involving the senator is good or bad will not work ,,if you want to do it just go for it......think and decide what you want to do.

and in most cases senator are helpfull ,and in some they may not repond when it comes for visas issue ..it all depends on your fate.

so just make a try ,,be it can turn ur tabel .

Post does not have the authority to take any action on such cases until we receive authorization from the Department of State. As soon as we receive a response from the Department of State, we will contact you in order to complete the processing of your visa. ".....

I understand that everyone else is waiting too. But it seems like most people are waiting because they forgot to take a document with them or had issue with passport pealing or had some sortof red flag. We didn't have any. they were same religion, she is a year younger, everyone in family accepts them. We even had gone down for her brothers wedding. I just wish I knew why we got stuck in ap
