Hi Payal,

I know that I have to be patient, but sometimes feel cant wait any longer. You know I have been following this forum since the past 1 month and somewhere all you guys conversations have given me strength. Just keep praying that everyones wait should end really soon.

Adiv , i agree with you this forum helps guys like pdgupta, payal, mitu. But, still we don't have any deadline on which have to work on? like you well pass beyond 60 days limit. & still no clue so........

I exactly know the feeling!!! It was just a PCC in my case and more than 40 days since i submitted my documents. Finally they seemed to have looked into the case on 17th Jan after a month and no more

No, b/c my single line message was last month. My visa came last week. so its hard to tell if a single line message is a good sign or not.

Yes this is more like a luck game... & dont worry there r people who get their visas in 15 or 20 days too. Hope u r amongst the lucky ones who dont have to wait as long as we waited.

It was just PCC and you haven't heard from them as yet.??!! This is scary. I thought I might get to hear from them in about 10days. Now I have to get myself mentally prepared!!! :bonk:

We understand that you want an update on status of your visa application.

With regards to your query, we would like to inform that your visa application is currently undergoing necessary "Administrative Processing". We request you to please wait as the processing times vary from case to case and are at the discretion of the Consular officer. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If the visa application is approved, they will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

Yup.. My reason for 221g is also PCC. My interview date was on 12th dec, submitted the document and passport on 17th dec. So. Its about 57days since i submitted. And only once my case status was updated. :(

Forum ppl, my wife received a letter from consulate requesting a new medical and also returned my wife's passport, saying the processing has NOT been completed. so, they asked to submit a new medical only and NOT the passport. I will hire a lawyer now to get this completed. Hope, you guys don't have any difficulties with your processing. Good luck.
