No, b/c my single line message was last month. My visa came last week. so its hard to tell if a single line message is a good sign or not.

Hi, I just saw this link for latest case updates for Mumbai consulate for dec 21. asks for barcode but dont know what it is. Cant find similar link for Delhi consulate.

that is for people in Administrative Processing, once they find their CEAC barcode in the list they are supposed to submit their passport.

are you in admin proc?

I am in Mandatory AP since January 2012 at New Delhi,We are five person. In June we were asked to submit new medical which we submitted than in August last we were told to submit at least eight month validity passport to complete processing and to issue visa than we submitted our new passports in Mid September, since that time we are waiting. Last week I called The DOS and were told that embassy is working on my case. Today I checked my Case status on DOS case status link . For Me it says AP, for my wife it says,Ready, for my three children it says AP. The last update on my case is on December,7,2012.

hiii this is NAINA from hyd i had my visa interview for CR 1 ON 12 DEC 2012 AT MUMBAI CONSULATE ..AND I GOT 221G AND THE VO SAID SHE IS PUTTING ME ON ADMIN PROCESSIONG ....IS THE SAME SITUATION FOR U DID U RECEVIED UR VISA AFTER ADMIN PROCESSING ...AFTER HOW LONG PLEASE EXPLAIN AND DID U HAD UR INTERVIEW AT MUMBAI COUNSULATE...

by god grace they should approve all pending 221g tomorrow (26th) as a new year gift to us.

Dinank is your status showing " administrative processing" or only status date has been updated? God knows when mine status will be change :(

Case Creation Date: 21-Jul-2012

Status Updated Date: 28-Dec-2012

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.
