Pawan my husband again called Dos..the guy told him that this returning passport and 221(g) is very normal in Mumbai Consulate. SO nothing to worry. Once they completed the process they will ask for the passport for visa stamping..Its simple 221(G)

I am still waiting for a visa approval for my wife. Still no updates and my wife submitted her passport on dec 10th

I think....usually after a month they start the process. For my case, DOS said that they are working the case. After UStravel said case is now pending officer review. However; in system it will always show Admin Processing. You should ask DOS if they are currently working on case.

Also, if depends on case situations....but process it almost same for all cases.

They asked for proof of ongoing relationship. We submitted all proofs on October 16th. However; in addition they ask for correctness of my marriage certificate which was submitted on November 6th. So, it is ongoing relationship and document verification.

and then on nov 20, they returned your passport and second 221(g) right? now your case is almost complete, waiting for desk officer review right? so you need to suubmit your passport when they will ask you do?

so its like near about one month matter again I think.
