why ur and mine dates are not changing ..god help us

Well Naina.. Atleast your case was looked into. My case was last updated on the date of my interview. That means they havent even looked into my case as yet.. And it is like 20days since i sent in my documents!!!!

Guys am so sad... they returned my passport with a letter saying that,

Dear .....

We are writing in reference to your application for an immigrant visa. Unfortunately, your file is still incomplete and according, you have been kept pending under section 221g of the immigration and Naturalization Act (INA).

Your case is under administrative processing. We will contact you once the administrative processing is complete.

I am helpless what should i do now, 15 months still in AP.

Ohh Boy! I was waiting for your reply that you will post, " Guys, Got the Visa". I am sad as well. I do understand this concern and I am equally worried and scared as well. I think in this moment, you should hire an attorney because they know this things better and how to handle this situation since for the last 15 months you are in AP.

Don't be sad Ali, there are many people who got 221(G) for the second time and after that they received visa successfully after a long struggle.

so sorry to hear that, ask your parents to contact senator and see what happens.

My case is still showing pre-interview status. It simply sucks. No updates nothing. How is it possible. I have submitted my docs on Dec 3 and it last updated on Dec 7. Man, how is it possible, it should show Administrative processing now :(

My wife's cases still shows as "READY" as well. The interesting part is our still shows "Ready" after they sent us a letter saying our processing is completed.

If they issued visa, do they let us know through an email that your visa is issued? Or after only collecting passport we get to know that visa is issued?

You have to check the status on the website because it will change to "Issued" and also you can call DOS to double check if you are issued the visa. Hopefully they approve my wife's visa this month because her medical report expires next month.
