Hey so this may seem like a stupid question but did anyone from Australia who had their K1 interview take their xrays with? I'm flying in from Bris and was just curious. I do know that we need to take them with us at the POE. Thanks! Also, I have not been told to bring anything other than my passport, express post envelope and proof of payment. Is there anything random that people have been asked for during their interview that they weren't told to bring? :D

I'm pretty sure you don't need your X-ray for interview. I'm currently awaiting packet 3. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to receive packet 3 after NOA2? And, how long after sending your completed packet 3 to Sydney did it take to get an interview date?

Hope all goes well with your interview :)

Hey :) I also thought I don't need to take the xrays but wanted to check - they an awkward shape and size to carry around esp on a flight :D

NOA2 to Receiving pkt 3 was around 20 days. Then it took 7 days from sending pkt 3 to get my interview date. You can have a look through my timeline.

Thanks for the well wishes :) Good luck for your pkt 3 and the rest of the process!

The x-ray is yours to keep. The report from the x-ray by the doctor is in your medical package. That's all they need to see and it will be in the envelope from the consulate along with the rest of your medical. The IO wouldn't know how to read an x-ray anyway. You don't need it at the POE.

Bring a book or magazine in case you are waiting for a while. It can get boring in there.

Thanks for the xray and magazine advice :) Hopefully I'm not stuck in there for too long
