We just got married and I want some information form you guys here in VJ's if what did u apply first after your marriage?

You will file for Adjustment of Status. At the top of the website, you will see a menu link labeled 'Guides'. To the right, you will see Adjustment of Status for K-1 applicants.

chase after a ssn card in your visa name.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

After our marriage my wife applied for her SS card (in her married name), once she had that in hand we then started the AOS (Adjustment of Status) process, in about 4 months she had her conditional green card.
