Hi,

I need some information regarding AOS..

My husband n I adopted a girl ( presently 4 years old) 2 years back... Petition is approved by csc. We send ds3032 to nvc and also paid AOS fee.. I want to know what next.. Should We wait for NVC response for AOS documents or we have to send AOS packet... N which form my husband has to file i864 or i864w..

My husband is USC and he filed petition for our daughter and I m LPR.. my husband didn't stay 2 years with our daughter.. I stayed with her.. He was there only for adoption time..

Please clarify which form we have to fill and what document would be send in support of i864w..

thnx

Deep

You can, but don;t have to wait for NVC to contact you.

I believe you file I-864W, as the child, having been legally adopted, will become a US citizen upon entry to the USA. What did you do to maintain your greencard during the two years?
