'Borat': Is he hilarious, or just offensive?

I vote hilarious.

For a movie choice this weekend, I'll probably go see 'Flags Of Our Fathers' over 'Borat.' :star:

I want to see both of those movies actually. Not sure if I'll get around to it though.

Me too. I plan to watch Borat on the big screen but will wait for FOUF's to show up on onDemand. Like Steven said, it's not doing too well in the Box Office so I expect it will be on onDemand soon.

My parents, who are both in their 70's watched it and they both cried...said it's very emotional film...and brought back a lot of memories. They recommended I take my teenager to go see it.

I believe that. One more reason to watch it at home. Besides, I like the ability to rewind movies with actual stories. I'm slow, comes with the territory of being a subspecies ;)

You know I kid you about that. Some of my closest friends are goblins.

Ya I know. I think it's hilarious. It might even be my next VJ screen name.

I haven't read a single bad review of "Borat" over here in Britain yet. They all say it is the funniest film all year. One example "So funny you'll bust every blood vessel in your face!". :D

I can't wait to see it.

I saw it last night, was a challenge to see, the show was sold out at one theater..went to next town and we were lucky enough to get in before it sold out too. As far as the movie itself: I laughed from the beginning to the very last minute. It was a little crude at times, but all in all it was one of the best movies Ive seen this year!!!!! Im an even bigger fan of sacha baron cohen now!

i vote boring -- does his schtick not start to wear after 5 minutes? I know I'm probably in the minority....

Saw him with Allan Colmes last night, after five minutes was like 20 grit sandpaper! He falls right in there with Pee-Wee Herman,Jim Carrey. Voice was very irritating, could not imagine listening to it for 90 minutes.
