No USCIS status for I-765 or I-130

I received NOA receipts on 10/4/12 for our I-765, I-130 and I-485 applications. When I check status on the USCIS site, I get a messsage "Your case can not be found at this time"in My Case Status for the I-765 or I-130, but I do get status information for the I-480 application. In this normal? Is the I-480 normally processed first? Thanks for your responses.

if the receipt #s start with 'MSC' - don't worry about it.

Was a big data kerfluffle with USCIS with MSC numbers,

on both AOS packets and I-130s submitted for CR-1 visas.

I've no clue when it's going to be fixed.

Historically, if you not see any casefile status at all, cause the receipt # is not found, USCIS would catch up within 30 days .

That's not happened this quarter.

You'll receive postal notifications for stuff - at least that bit still works.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I haven't either but a lot of people say the website is not really reliable. If it is taking more than usual for you to receive notifications (mail, texts etc) you may try to call their customer service to verify, but in general if you are receiving their notifications you should be fine!

Hey there: Mine are also all MSC but I had no problem. That's not to say you can't have problems. I read a lot lately that some people have issues with USCIS website, and that some MSC members are having issue with the notifications...I hope sooner or later this will be resolved and you'll catch yourself driving to the interview. :) Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply...I called USCIS last night and the CSR could not find any status as well :( . She provided an email address for inquiry which I submitted today.

So, when are you putting your wife to work, and what will she be doing?

Congratulations on the EAD.

FWIW, when you call in again to USCIS, ask for an ISO. ISOs will know about casefile status on MSC casefiles, where a CSR cannot see it on their computer system.

Thanks Darnell, right now we just need a SSN# before we can do anything...can't get drivers license, can't add her to my bank accounts, etc without a SSN#

I see status updates for our I130 application as of today. The USCIS site was down for a time over the weekend for maintenance. Perhaps they are catching up. good luck!
