well there is slim chance depending on consulate and if all slots are completely filled. But you're rite the month is just about to end so more likely early Feb date. some consulates give fast dates while some takes months.

Seems like Cambodia is one of those that takes forever to schedule. According to their embassy's website it seems as if they are scheduling every week because the "appointment schedule" is updated every week. Seems like they schedule based on PD, cause they have appointments for March. Of course very few for feb and march.

Waiting is not the problem. Not knowing the interview date is difficult. As I'm planning on going to the interview with my wife. it becomes difficult to plan my work accordingly. Laura, let's hope we're one of those people that gets an "early date" :)

One last entry on the interview process. I had to go to the Embassy in Caracas yesterday to have some documents notarized (unrelated to VISA) While the documents were being signed, the same man who did the interview stopped to talk with the man doing the notary. We said Hello and thanked him for treating us so great. He asked if we wanted our VISA and we of course said Yes if that is possible. He asked us to wait and 20 minutes later handed us the completed packet. Turns out this gentlemen is the Chief of VISA department for the embassy. He had his staff prepare the package right on the spot.

Thank for all the help, you are a great group!

Expedite requests vary in length as its dependent upon the embassy. Some embassies reply quickly, others more slowly. It also depends on their workload and if there's holidays (like now). So, you can hear back this week, or next month. There's really no way of knowing. Just keep calling NVC once a day and inquiring about the status. Nothing you can really do at this point except for staying up to date through NVC.

First you need to figure out if they're dependents. The IRS has instructions for 2011 here: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040.pdf (page 15). If they are qualified as dependents, then yes, an ITIN is required as there's a section on their SSNs.

I called yesterday hoping some good news at least as a birthday gift & nothing yet):

The rep told me im still waiting on intervew date and waiting to see if my expedite has been approved!
