If I do, sure. Not sure if I want to post it here, but if I do it, sure. Maybe Facebook or something.

Feel free to PM me to remind me after the holidays. My wife has taken a couple vacation days so we'll be spending the whole time together from when I land to January 2nd when she goes back to work. Oh and BTW... I don't suppose someone knows of any good novelty stores in Pittsburgh? We might need a "Do Not Disturb" sign to put on the door. :innocent:

Maybe yer overthinking this?

Look, just carry a 2 inch wide red ribbon in your carry bag.

When you are through with Customs and Immigration,

about to push your luggage carrier through the International Exit Doors

then (and only then)

Tie the ribbon around your head, like tying yer shoelaces or bow tie,

with the knot on top of yer head.

No need to worry about being embarrassed about this,

as

within a minute, she would have messed up yer hair, and the bow fall to the ground.

Stressed? You can practice making the bow knot, today ;)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

What I meant is I hope I can find a ribbon so I can do this. It's an awesome idea. :D

Is there a "Post your random rant here" thread here at VJ?

I have not been sleeping well lately. For the last 10-12 days or so, I've been waking up at ungodly hours. Between 4:15 and 6:15 (I usually get up at 6:40 to go to work).

Last night (Monday night Swedish time) I hung up on MSN after chatting with my wife at like 9:45 in the evening (3:45 New York/Pittsburgh time). I swear to god I fell asleep within ten minutes after logging out on the computer.

At 11:48, the phone rings. It's my brother. I was shell shocked. I felt like I imagine you feel if you wake up in the middle of the night cause the fire alarm goes off and the house is on fire.

"I'm having this debate with a girl. Who was worse, Hitler or Stalin?"

I was too dazed to believe what I was hearing. Are you effing kidding me? I mumbled something like I was too tired to think and I couldn't really say who was worse, Hitler or Stalin. He was like "OK, I'll let you get back to what you were doing, sleeping or whatever."

Geez, thanks a lot little brother. Man I need to get out of this place. Sunday can't come soon enough.

And now I can't go back to sleep. Great!

The effer who gives my brother my new number or my wife's number is effing dead. I am so not even kidding about that. Dead. D.E.A.D. dead

Hey, well I just got my I-130 approval  .

I have a question about the affidavit of support, my husband is gonna be my sponsor but as for last year (2011) he didn't earn enough income to support me. But this year (2012) his income is fine and can be used to support me.

SO can we wait for 2012 tax return and use it as or do we have to use 2011 ones ?

Ok let me try this again .. Here is my question .. Maybe Darnell or Saylin can help .

I need an advice please from someone who knows taxes very well .. I applied for an ITIN number for my wife after submitting I-864 . Would this be a problem at all at the interview for her , i know CO may ask for my 2013 tax return if it was done by the interview time , so i don't know if i should contact IRS and ask them to cancel the whole thing or just leave it as it is ? Help appreciated . I already got case complete and waiting on interview date , most likely it will be in FEB , NVC said JAN is full . Thanks

Grats! kicking.gif

NVC really only cares about CURRENT income. So, as long as his current income is above the poverty line, you should be fine. Now, the embassy may not be fine as they sometimes have their own "rules". But by the time your interview comes around, you should have your 2012 taxes filed, so you should be okay on that part too.

Thank you so much Saylin . I think that we are going to wait for 2012 tax return.
