Can someone please fix my dates? The biometrics appointment is for 01/10/13, not 01/13/12 (I wish!!!)

12/26/2012: NOA received

01/14/2013: Biometrics Appointment

10/18/2013: Placed in line for the interview

02/16/2013: Yellow letter received

02/19/2013: Interview letter received

03/20/2013: Interview/test

03/20/2013: Passed!!!!!

03/25/2013: Placed in the oath scheduling que (time to wait for the oath ceremony date)

04/05/2013: Oath ceremony schedule and notice its on its way!!!!

04/10/2013: Received oath ceremony letter

04/24/2013: Oath ceremony at 7:00 am!!

06/27/2013: Got married

11/14/2013: AOS package sent

11/18/2013: Package received

11/20/2013: USCIS email notification

12/16/2013: Biometrics appointment

01/15/2014: Got appointment letter

02/18/2014: Passed the interview

02/18/2014: Case approved!!!

02/22/2014: Got welcome letter

02/24/2014: Green card was mailed (time to wait)

01/21/2016: Petition to remove conditions sent

02/04/2016: CR-89 received, fingerprint appointment scheduled

08/02/2016: Status updated: "New card is being produced"

08/04/2016: Status updated: "We mailed your new card"

As promised, here's my interview experience. Interview was scheduled for 9.30am, I arrived at 9am. The line was a bit long and slow, got to the 15th floor about 9.20am. Handed in my appointment letter

Hi all,

I am about to start my N400 application I have some questions and hoping to get some helpful insights from you folks. any advice is greatly appreciated.

1)I have been married to a US citizen for 4 years and I have my green card for 4 years now. I didn't apply for citizenship last year when I was 3 years married and have my green card for 3 years. However, is it still ok if I apply for N400 now and use the "3 year married to US citizen" rule for my case? I guess my question is for that 3 year rule, do you have to do it at 2 years 9 months or 3 years exactly and if you miss that period and you are over that amount now, you have to wait till 5 years to file for citizenship?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

2) I have always used my PO box for my mailing addresses for bank statements, bills, etc... and I would like to use my PO Box as mailing address for this N400 form as well. Is it ok to put PO box in the mailing address section (below the physical address)? Will USCIS send all the letters to my PO Box? Have anyone done this before? I am sorry I am a little concerned because I sometimes hear stories that USCIS will still send mail to the physical address even though you put your PO box as your mailing. Since we might be moving to a new place soon therefore I don't want to get mails at our physical address in case we move and they send me biometrics letters and I won't get it.

3) I have all our joint tax returns for all the years we are married, is that enough to send or do I need to send in bank statement and other bills for the last 4 years as well? (because that would be a lot of paperwork!)

I just checked mail box...nothing mail yet for Bio metrics date. Website shows that USCIS sent out mail on 12/28/2012.

I hope it will arrive by Friday..good.gif

1)Yes. The 3 years minus 90 days is the EARLIEST eligibility date to apply to apply, not an eligibility window. So you're ok.

2) Yes

3) Just send what they're asking for (i.e tax returns, etc)/

hi everybody ,

I received an email today saying :"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number " I don't understand ,do they send the application to NBC ?

hi everybody ,

I received an email today saying :"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number " I don't understand ,do they send the application to NBC ?

Yes, and thus your case number will start with NBC :)

Hpw long to get mail from service center?? USCIS website shows that they have mailed me Bio Appointment on 12/28/2012, I haven't got yet until today.star_smile.gif

12-20-2012: SENT N-400 APPLICATION

12-21-2012: RECEIVED N-400 APPLICATION

12-27-2012: CHECK CASHED

12-28-2012: NOA RECEIVED

01-08-2013: BIO-METRIC COMPLETED

01-14-2013: INTERVIEW IN LINE FOR SCHEDULED

04-10-2013: INTERVIEW SCHEDULE AT 7:30 AM, TAMPA OFFICE...APPROVED:)))

04-23-2013: OATH CEREMONY AT TAMPA 1 PM...FINALLY USC.....
