As promised, here's my interview experience. Interview was scheduled for 9.30am, I arrived at 9am. The line was a bit long and slow, got to the 15th floor about 9.20am. Handed in my appointment letter

Waiting for Okalian and Lisa & Ann to report their experiences from their Bio appointments today. My wife and I have ours at 2.00 and 3.00 p.m CST today. Hoping for the best for you folks.

Hello Pat,

it went pretty smooth, took less than 15 minutes overall. They give you a studyguide & audio CD to study for the civics test. Nothing to worry about :) good luck and let us know how things are.

I had an appointment for Biometrics for Dec 27th, I went in today Dec 26th to see I could do the Bio today instead of tomorrow. I was allowed to do my Biometrics today due to alot of cancellations. Changing BIO date from 27th to 26th.

Hello Okalian,

Ours went smoothly too. We were handed back our stamped Bio appointment letters after the fingerprinting process. I inquired about the interview and the lady informed us that we will have out interviews at the application service center itself though it might be a while before we receive our interview appointment letters. Hopefully we would not have to travel to the field office at St. Paul, MN - a 4 hr drive. Will keep everyone posted.

Just got the e-mail message that our file has been transferred to National Benefits Center. Is that normal?

Also, I was able to log into the USCIS website to check the case status and it says received on 12/24, which means I should receive the NOA soon!

Richard's biometrics appointment was easy peasy. His appointment time was 10 am, we arrived about ten minutes early. He was taken right away and we were on the way home at 10 am. The application support center in Philly is in the NE part the city with free parking. The interview will (sadly) not be here. But glad this step is easy. Good luck to all that follow.

Also, I saw that check was cashed today! It's kind of sad to see that money being cashed, but the bright side is that this is the last of it!

My check hasn't been cashed yet, the check was submit by my wife's bank account. Is that gonna be a problem? I have received text and email message yesterday and I can see my case status too.

I hope they will not send back application due to submit third party check(my wife).
