As promised, here's my interview experience. Interview was scheduled for 9.30am, I arrived at 9am. The line was a bit long and slow, got to the 15th floor about 9.20am. Handed in my appointment letter

beteenan what is goin on you ?? how is your case? i m in phili too

Hubby (Richard) has his interview for 3/4/13 so it looks to be moving along smoothly. We have a trip planned for early June, so our fingers are crossed for the rest of the process to move as smoothly as well. How about you ?

how can i learn that am i inline for interview??by calling to them or get an email or txt ( but both of them that how to get ?)

If you go to uscis.gov and sign up for case updates they will send you email and text message of your case status .. ! !

today i checked to the proccessing times on uscis website . and i think they updated their timeline.. but i am still seeing to the time of the phili local office .. it shows that they are still working on july 29 2012 for citizenship applications..i send my paper 21 december 2012 and they received my mail 24 december.. 02 januarry they sent me to the fingerprint notice.. almost 1 month 12 days passed on my first sending date.i gave them fingerprint on 14 january 2013. still waiting but no respond about the inline for interview.. or something else.. what happening? can anybody tell me their important comments which are for me..

Mine was received Dec. 10th and fingerprints completed on Dec. 26th, and still nothing as far as I know :) Just be patient. I'm not eagerly waiting to sponsor someone or so, so just let things take their time. There are some who're placed in line for interview and then wait the same period you're waiting! I've noticed that in my local office, they place applicantsin line for interview and then send them the interview notice right after, then the oath is a few days after the interview. Visit other months' filers and check their timelines, especially those in the same local office as yours so as to determine if your office similarly has a pattern.

Also keep in mind that after fingerprints, they conduct a background check, which may slightly elongate the process. So don't worry star_smile.gif

everybody has been putting inline for interview before interview letter about schedule by uscis. or just it depending on some cases? i mean this december topic time lines bar has include interview inline before interview letter but others monthly topics has no..so my question is basic..what is interview inline ?

Surprised me this morning when i check my case status at USCIS website.

Here is cues:

"Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives."

Please let me know if anyone facing same situation at their service center.

Mine says the same thing. I think everyone will get that message. Due to the high volume of applications from the Dream Act (not sure if I have that name right), the service centers are swamped with entering cases online. I read in another thread that too many people were calling in to complain about not being able to see their cases online, so USCIS put that message up. I believe it only applies to people who cannot already see their cases online, but I'm not sure how it will affect future updates for those of us who can access our information on the website. I would imagine that once the cases have been forwarded to the local office for interview following biometrics, the service centers won't be doing the updating. This message probably is for those who have not submitted applications yet or who have submitted them recently. For the K1 back in 2009, we couldn't see our case until the day it was approved. For ROC, we could see the case, but the local office didn't update, so the interview letter was a huge surprise. Then no updates for 2 months after the interview until we did an infopass to find out we had been approved a couple of days prior. I know the system is very unreliable, but I do like being able to follow our progress to some degree.

I have my interview on feb 19. Someone please share your knowledge . My question is can I know if my approved or not on interview day ? I mean after I am done with my test , the interviewer tell me you approved or not . Or do I need to wait to get the letter from uscis agin to know if I got approved or not . Thank you every one :)

04/08/2014 officer lady from NVC said that my AOS packages are received .

04/09/2014 DS 260 completed. make some name mistake. hope it will not delay my case.

04/16/2006 IV package for parents are delivered to NVC ( according to USPS tracking).

04/21/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they received my IV package today. .

​04/24/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they already accepted my AOS packages for both parents...

05/06/2014 one gentleman told me my case was completed already. (L) (L) (L)

06/11/2014 interview for my parents.

I have my interview on feb 19. Someone please share your knowledge . My question is can I know if my approved or not on interview day ? I mean after I am done with my test , the interviewer tell me you approved or not . Or do I need to wait to get the letter from uscis agin to know if I got approved or not . Thank you every one :)

In most cases they'll tell you on the spot. There are some cases when applicants are told "a decision cannot be made" if their application is missing some info, or if the IO needs to further review it.

noa 1 on april 5, 2013

transferred from NBC to TSC on nov 18, 2013.

waiting waiting and hoping NO RFE.......

jan 31, 2014 NOA 2 ....

finally i 130 journey is approved ...

NVC stage

02/26/2014 nvc received my approved i130 from uscis

04/01/2014 case number and invoiced assigned

04/02/2014 AOS fee paid

04/04/2014 iv fee invoiced. not able to pay yet

04/06/2014 iv fee ok to pay, still in process
