Or maybe it wont. Our nation and our principles were founded on a will to resist also and it was a lot longer than 100 years ago.

If you were around over 100 years ago, you would have seen that. Seems they had a hard time keeping Geronimo on the reservation, and there was that incident in South Dakota, something about Ghost Dancers. Maybe if the situation hasn't changed in another 100 years for the Palestinians, and neglect and despair and time changes their will to resist...

i don't get it.

You have compare what Europeans did to Native Americans in the 1800's to what Israeli's are doing to the Palestinians now, unless you are telling Palestinians to just wait at least another 100 years for their lives to improve.

I specifically and succinctly said that any comparison between the Palestinians and native Americans is stupid.

You must have missed that.

OH you forgot to answer the question and I will spell it out: Can. native. americans. live. and. go. anywhere. they. wish. in. the. United. States. and. enjoy. any. freedom. that. any. other. american. can. enjoy.

Your answer will confirm my opinion of the above. Stupid comparison. Noticed big daddy found somewhere else to go. Good.

The parallels between the historical experiences of dispossession and colonization of the Palestinian and Native American peoples, and the similarities in the discourses of land and belonging of the two peoples, proved strong enough to once move Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish to write the poem “Speech of the Red Indian.”

Dispossession, Soil, and Identity in Palestinian and Native American Literature

The current plight of Palestinians increasingly resembles the tragic demise of Native Americans. To have become refugees in their own land, hounded and derided by a superior military and economic entity, and to have endured mostly apathy from the outside world as well as the inevitable corruption and authoritarianism of ‘their own leaders’ are markers of both experiences. The aim of this short essay is to demonstrate (some of) the commonalities and differences that have shaped these two struggles.

yeah no kidding blink blink

Here's my position. No native American is prevented from doing anything in America that anyone else can't do and otherwise is free to do what they wish outside their own lands and self govern and do what the rest of us cant do within their own lands. You dont see the difference sport?

The plight of the Palestinian people more resembles the Jewish people in Nazi Germany than it resembles the "plight" of native Americans

which makes the Israelis what?

Well, when Israel's neighbors and the rest of the world look the other way while Jews exterminate 6 million Palestinians, then your analogy will bear fruit. In the meantime, Israel is functioning as more like South Africa did under Apartheid than Germany did under Hitler.

true.

Fair. I yield you South Africa under Apartheid with the mix of killing people who protest it, including Americans. On the basis of what we have learned (and yes we learned it over time and sometimes in hard lessons written in blood) is right and wrong it's wrong, hands down, and we are wrong to fund it and support it. Extermination by the hundreds or thousands is no better than extermination by the millions and the ONLY difference is the number of zeroes.
