Thanks...that is exactly what I have been doing every night and my mind is just going to pop with all the information. I am thankful for this website. Reality is now setting in. I was so clueless when I submitted my application. I am now going to be totally prepared because my hubby didn't know either. Boy was he surprised. But he said every case is different so only time will tell. I am already so impatient and it hasn't even pass the 30 day mark. LOL

Thanks for reading. :)

Well sense you didn't know about NVC than you may not know what to prepare for next. Here is the NVC current filers thread please while you are waiting read Post #1 and Post #2.

Time to start getting your ducks in order. This way you will be ready for NVC and hopefully fly through. Good luck.

I just thought my application was going to go to the California Service Center since I am in California. So I wasn't sure why it was routed to National Benefits Center in Missouri.

OK. Things change, over time, aye? You are lucky, your casefile was processed at MSC and you have I-130 approval in a short amount o time.

IF that casefile had stayed at CSC, expect 5 to 7 months..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I think he was asking, what kind of time frame were you expecting?

:bonk: LOL I just didn't have a clue! Actually both my husband and I didn't have an ideal of how long, what to expect. We met online, we fell in love,we met in person & then we married in Morocco.

We thought we just had the one application I-130 to complete. This is definitely a learning experience. I googled on how to apply for immigration and did my research solely relying on the internet. Thank goodness for Visa Journey's website.

So to answer your question, I thought it would be 3-5 months TOTAL. My big head thought I would be approved quickly because I am an US citizen!
