Ok I'm new but as much as I've learned so far I am wondering if they will let him back into the US to visit since the i129 has been filed?? I've also read people advise against marrying in the US. But maybe I'm missing something in your post.

He can visit the US whilst the visa case is processing, yes. Just make sure he has evidence to show that he isn't going to stay there permanently - make sure he can provide ties to his country, or else he may be refused entry if they think he's not going to go home.

What do you mean about marrying in the US? If you're doing the K-1 visa then nobody should be marrying anybody in the meantime, and of course afterwards when it's (hopefully) approved marriage in the US is the next step, before adjusting status for the conditional green card. I know somebody who applied for the K-1 and then married their partner whilst it was still being processed, thinking it didn't make any difference. I'm not sure how they thought they could still use a fiancée visa after that...
