Freak out mode as husband's interview draws near...

so my husband's interview is December 6 (next week) and i know at this point i should just be letting go and letting God. tried staying away from the forums coz they totally put me into freak out mode. my question to members who have had RECENT visa approvals is, do they really ask for the CEMAR?

backround on our marriage: married 3 years with 1 daughter. my daughter was born is the US and i was naturalized.

husband has all other docs (NSO BC, MC, orig NBI, copies of all immigration forms sent to me by NVC, copies of I-864 with tax transcripts, pictures, and proof of ongoing communication)

I had CEMAR in my possesion but they never even bother to ask about it. Don't worry too much and just pray for the approval

Bring anything and everything that comes into mind,

I'm pretty sure you have read so many articles here on what documents you should bring,

its better to come prepared, better have it and not need it, than need it but you don't have it....

You never know what the consul nor the screener would ask of you, its better to have everything

We had to give my wifes original baptismal at the interview, werent ready for that and didn't have a copy. She was late registration

What is CEMAR?

CEMAR is Certificate of Marriage (if single its a CENOMAR), you request this from NSO. Embassy will want copy.

yes, i had my husband obtain his baptismal certificate because he was a late registrant as well. (thanks to VJ for that tip)

Tell your hubby to go directly to an NSO office/branch. Some people got it on the same day but I heard some got it after 2 days.
