To me it seems like you got one of those "bogus RFEs" that they sent out just to postpone working on the case. We sent almost exactly the same stuff (except I did not include any pictures whatsoever)

Are you sure they got your rfe packet. It shouldnt really be taking this long. I would try to call and see as its been over six weeks since you replied to the rfe. And try to figure out if your packet

For all the others still waiting,My status online on the USCIS website has not changed, So maybe they are not updating their website as much?
I was also very suprised to get my approval with no interview this early.. from the looks of the timelines i thought We would be waiting till the fall.

Quick question....

I haven't heard anything from USCIS in 6 months 2 days and I have an upcoming trip to Mexico during the second week of July...... my question is:

1) What happens if they approve my GC and I don't receive it before leaving? Do I get in trouble for leaving the country with my expired GC and extension letter?

You can travel as long as your extension letter has not expired. :)

Yeah!!!!! Just got a text message that my card has been ordered....yeahhhhh!!!!!! I am soooooooo happy....done with USCIS for a minute!!!!!
