Also, if you, say, went to the dentist (same dentist, that is), you can go and print out the claims. I think you said you have MetLife? Their website is pretty good with that.

I sent the claims from the dentist because my wife and I always go on the same day (I highlighted that and wrote that on the page too).

I just wanted to caution you with this.

USCIS doesn't care if you had religious wedding. In their eyes it does not make you "more" married then you already are and may be confusing even.

Also, don't call it "marriage" in any documents. Just say "ceremony".

Also, looking at the scenarios here, what do you think regarding the time wise from sending the RFE packet and receiving something from USCIS will take? I am sending this Wed, so do you think we will be able to have something by end of May?

I took your suggestion and went to 2012 thread where people applied in 2011. Gosh, in VSC it took almost a year for their GC got approved. CSC people got their approval pretty quick, however, VSC went to a year.

If I remember it correctly, the first person who got approved in VSC was in August 2012. This is EPIC to see that VSC got some kick in this season...

I was looking up other threads (June/July/August 2012) and what I see is that the max to max it takes up to 1 month to get approved. If not, then be assured that you should apply for citizenship (N-400).

Hey Folks,

Unfortunately, the very thing that i dreaded the most came true. I came home today to find a RFE.

I am really pissed off about it, my husband is more relaxed. I just feel like now i have to send even more documents when i have already sent them everything!!!. The only new thing we have is a new car lease in both our names and a different helth insurance. We have no will, POA, or trust like they ask in the letter.

I have already sent Bank Statements thorought the marriage, trips together, a copy of a mortgage refinance with both our signatures, copies of health cards,copies of CC we both use, photos, tax returns .

i dont what else to send!!

I will start right now to prepare the package again. My worst nightmare!
