NOTHING. I am starting to lose my patience.

Relax. They are working on September filers' cases mainly right now. You have at least 2 more months to go ;)

NOTHING. I am starting to lose my patience.

It's only been 4 months.... Going into this (all of the immigration) process with realistic expectations helps negate the frustration.

NOTHING. I am starting to lose my patience.

Same here, everyday I check my mailbox hoping to receive anything from USCIS, check my case online.... No luck so far.. Maybe we will get our 10year GC just around the time when we need to apply for citizenship.

thanks for the comments, yes we should do citizenship when the window opens. My wife got nervous today and is worried if she can handle the citizenship interview on her own. Does anyone know if the spouse is allowed to attend that interview or is that her only ?

Sometimes it's hard for her to understand english if the person happens to be a fast talker lol..

How did you get your 10year GG approved so fast? I apply for it around 12/03 and got my biometrics taken no later than 12/20? Lucky you! Congrats!!

Hi Guys! Sorry I haven't been updating my post. We had trouble with getting my extension as we never received my NOA1. So I went to the Immigration office here in Phoenix and last 3-6-13 and they gave me six months extension which will expire on 9-6-13. Went on my biometrics appointment on 2-14-13. We don't always check my case update but we did today and still nothing. We'll just wait and see what happens. My case update states it's still on initial interview. Anybody here on the same page? No RFE or interview notice either. We are getting worried but I think a lot of people here are on the same timeline as we are.

BTW would like to know about the window for naturalization process. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can file for citizenship 90 days before the 3 year anniversary of being a permanent resident. As of approval, USCIS is still working on September and couple of October got approved. Maybe a couple of months and you will hear something. Good luck.

September? Really?. Why does the VSC Processing times on the USCIS website shows that on forms I-751 they are working on July 16,2012 filers. Is that not up to date?.

It can say April 24, 2013, it still won't change anything. Those are just very vague timelines that USCIS provies.

In this immigration process patience is virtue. I.e. - it gets done when it gets done.

December 2012 is about 2-4 months away from approvals by my calculations.

Hello Guys,

I was just browsing through the forum of the November 2012 filers and saw that some folks that filed mid-November with VCS have been approved. Could it be that Vermont has gotten quicker?. That would be awesome!.

I'd say the ETA on approvals is still 2-4 months. We might see first approvals soon, but it'll take a little bit for everyone else.

Still, in November (11th, to be exact) we are filing for Naturalization. So if it comes before that - great. If not - whoppteedoo.
