May 2012 I-130, VSC

The most depressing part is that I filed my petition on the same day as my cousin. I did the paperwork for him as well. He got approved a month ago. His wifey is about to be here in couple months or so, and I am no where near that. What should I tell my wife, she knows that me and my cousin filed on the same date. Unfortunately, it is hard to convince your loved ones oversees that it is alright, keep on waiting.

YES!!! THAT'S IT! I have the same problem (although I did not file for my cousin) but my wife keeps telling me stories she knows about or has heard, that it takes only 4-5 months! She says she believes me when I tell her the situation but still it's very hard to convince my in-laws! I feel your pain, really!

Johna1 i totally understand your feeling, i got a same problem as u my wife is in oversea and waiting too long is really pain for both of us.....i called USCIS n same answers past 5 weeks wait 15 days.....I-130(USC).....

Unfortunately, they keep on saying that they are working on the May 14th application. This has been the answer over two weeks now. I think its about time to change it up a little. And I don't see a point in calling USCIS Tier 1 folks, they pretty much have the same information as we do. Only Tier 2 folks can say anything about our application, and they won't transfer us to there. And if they did, we would be waiting for hours on the phone to get hold off someone, and when you get a tier 2 on phone, they hang up on you. It happened to me twice!!! I am done, I guess the only other alternative is to visit a local office. Such a bad bureaucracy.

@Rezahoss- Bey Bro, I feel what you are going through. I called the Customer Service Center numerous times without much help. I recommend you should do what I had done. I emailed the Vermont Service Center Directly. I have not gotten a response yet, but I feel pretty positive about it. Here is the email, you should write to them and see what is happening. Hi John, I did email them on 12/1 and on 12/4 they responded to my email. The basically copied the response they had sent me for my E-Service Request. Basically this: "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 90 days of the date of this letter."!!!

My wife and I are going crazy!

@Rezahoss- Oh man. This is Tough. This wait can make the relationship fall apart. I hope the agency realize how important the value of family is. I mean after all, this nation was found on family values, freedom, and so many other good ethics.

I hope that it won't take another 90 days. My congressman's office told me last week that I should hear from Vermont within 30 days!

I'm a vsc filer with the noa1 may 31 2012 I received my noa2 dec 11 2012. I how this gives you some hope.
