Hello Everyone who has been waiting for so long to hear back from USCIS about the I-130 Petition . I know it must have been very frustrating for all us who have filed in vermont service center and still waiting to hear the results. Unfortunately, folks who have filed in CSC, Nebraska and Texas are being approved in 2-3 months of time. Anyone thought of calling USCIS and see if they could transfer the petition to another service center since you are so tired with the VSC. Please share your thoughts and update us about your status.

Not sure they would allow this. Plus, with our luck, as soon as they transfer the applications, they'll start approving the ones at VSC. lol.

Then, I'm a June applicant, so I've at least got another month of waiting.

@Johna1, I would suggest you give USCIS a call. I got my noa1 on May 7th called USCIS and put in a service request on Oct 31st got my NOA2 on Nov 8th. You have to be proactive when it comes to dealing with immigration.

@ mzsitcheron- Dude I called them guys every week, and trying to see if i could file a Service Request. They always turn me down. For the past four weeks I called, they said they are working on the May 14th and my date is May 15th. I don't know what in the world they are doing if they are still working on the same PD date over a month. I realize they have several thousand applications but still....

Not to disappoint you, but I filed in April and still no news. Just like you, I call them guys weekly (sometimes more than once a week). I have done 3 service requests so far! They just replied:"wait another 6 months!"

That's a shame. If you'd filed a week later, you probably would have been approved by now via NBC =\

Unfortunately, just means you'll have to keep waiting.

I called today and they said may 14th. They have been saying the same answer for almost two months now. Finally, the lady I spoke to transfer me to a tier 2 person, and got hold of the person after 2 hours and 12 minutes on phone for hold. And finally, the person who picked up from tier 2 hang up on me. What a day I am having...

I am sorry to hear that! I know exactly how you feel because that's exactly what happened to me last Thursday. I waited for more than 1 hour and then a 2nd tier manager by the name of Siera (with a thick Latin American accent) hung up on me! I cannot believe the disrespect that these people show us!

If it's consolation, I am an April filer and still have not been approved! :innocent:

But I have seen people who have filed months (not days) after we did get approved. Some people who filed in June or July have been approved!

The most depressing part is that I filed my petition on the same day as my cousin. I did the paperwork for him as well. He got approved a month ago. His wifey is about to be here in couple months or so, and I am no where near that. What should I tell my wife, she knows that me and my cousin filed on the same date. Unfortunately, it is hard to convince your loved ones oversees that it is alright, keep on waiting.
