Exactly so. Once they figure you're better to them dead than divorced, they see it through Removal of Conditions.

There are times I miss not have to take care of a goat, or or a wife. The goat just ran away on Friday, and is someone else's problem for now, so at least I don't have to feed that twice a day.

Last I heard she was at a neighbor's place. Hopefully, she won't come back, after all the folks that tried to catch her when she was penned up at my place. She won't want for forage. Her favorite food is the Algerian ivy that grows everywhere around the area.
