idk brother. even if they did show a shotgun. he got off 8-9 shots & none were returned. then he fled the scene. the 8-9 vs 0 doesn't sound possible & he left the scene before the police arrived. it sounds like he was looking for a reason to use his weapon.

If you people actually took the time to read the title of that article you just might get a clue and notice what sells. Take the "black" out of that article and read it again.

I read the article from beginning to the end, what I don't get is your title for this. All day people defend free speech, no matter how vile and disrespectful it is. But somehow, some teens listening to music in THEIR own car, at a PUBLIC gas station, and now it's an issue that someone lost his life over. Now you could argue that all he had to do is turn his music down, but why should he have to? Unless he was violating some ordance and the police had to show up, he was well within his rights. I hate seeing people with sagging pants and it irritates the ####### out of me, but I don't confront them why? Because it's none of my business and just like this situation, it could end up badly.

But once again, people who carry firearms feel embolded, because I can bet my paycheck if he wasn't carrying, he would have pumped his gas and left.

The police have already reviewed a security tape apparently. If that tape doesn't show a shotgun being leveled in combination with running from police, this guy will be in prison.

I don't get what you are trying to say. Those young boys were in their car listening to music in a public place. If it was bothering him so much, he could have gone to a different gas station.

Or he could have ignored it. He didn't need to confront them.

Agree and let me be clear that based on the evidence I have heard they shooter was way out of line. I encounter it often. You do not ask them to turn it done, because you know you will be attacked. He should have kept his mouth shut and reported it to the store owner or called the police.

I think I agree that this is the appropriate response. You know when you confront someone you are risking your own safety and others around you nowadays. You never know who you are confronting. That's what a reasonable person would do, I think. Maybe ask once, and act like it's not a big deal if they flip you off or something, then go inside and contact an authority.

It seems the guy doing the confronting was the nut job in this case.
