I'm not sure what to do. My petition has been approved for my K3 visa and i have an appiontment Nov 22 for it. Today my husband got a notice in the mail that our I-130 has been approved. What now? do i continue with the K3 because i will get to be with my husband sooner? And if i go with the K3 visa do i still have to apply for AOS? any help would be greatly apreciated.

Thank You

Well Congrats first of all. Do understand that if you do travel with K-3 visa then you have an option to go for AOS or travel back to Montreal to go for the CR-1 route (I-130). You will supposedly get to be with your husband alot sooner on K-3 than CR-1 cuz of all the paperwork involved before it will be forwarded to the embassy and on the other hand your K-3 interview has already been scheduled. So I would suggest that you just go with the K-3 and later on decide about CR-1 or AOS.

Also please do attach your timeline and tell me what were your NOA1 dates. Good luck!

Best Regards,

Shakil
