my boyfriend and i broke up recently but 2 months ago, i applied for a tourist visa here in norway and i wrote his name and address in washington dc as the person to stay with and place to stay in. but since we broke up and i am still planning to visit US, do i need to re-apply for a new application online or can i just edit my old application and remove his name and address? i have not book the interview yet coz i dont want this to be a problem in case the consul decides to dig deep about the editing. anyway i have since found a new bf to visit and i might be staying with him instead. any input will be appreciated. thanks!

If you didn't make an appointment, just fill new DS-160 and make an appointment using the new number (barcode or whatever it is called).

Why you filled an application and didn't proceed with it to make an appointment?

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly... You had a boyfriend and you planned to visit him, but you broke two months ago and now you have another US boyfriend?

how does one 'find' a new BF in so short of a time, without actually having met him? And the VOs will be quite leery of this new proposed trip....asking themselves the same question...which is...'how can we (the VOs) be sure that the old BF is now out of the picture?"..and ..."what's really going on?"...your ability to overcome 214b has not been enhanced since the last refusal from anything you have posted...all that is different is (allegedly) is that you miraculously have a new BF...which does not offer a meaningful reason why you should rush back to Norway after some visit.....

i am not applying for fiancee visa, its just tourist. i will finance the whole trip myself. problem is, the name and address i wrote on my application is no longer connected to me. i was just asking if i should make a new application since i have never book an interview yet or just edit the old application and remove the old bf's name and address in it? can i just write my new friend's name and address instead? meeting him or not in person or how quickly i have moved on from one guy to another are completely irrelevant to my question.
