I am worried too for noa2 as my wife applied for citizenship just 1 day back...

Ricardo..and senior member ....what u think what should I do now as my pd is 05 may 2011 but nothing heard from till now...VSC .

How long for citizenship ?

The about my application ..I mean after citizenship where m I standing ...how much time?

@sorry too many questions but I m confused...u my family so please help.

There is nothing you can do for the moment. Where does your wife live? You can have a look at other people's citizenship timelines here: http://www.visajourn...fl=&op5=5,10,11 (filter for your local CIS office). My husband is currently preparing his citizenship application, and on the basis of the VJ timelines it seems that the Boston office is pretty fast and that he could have his oath in four months. Thereafter we'll have to see at what stage our I-130 is (hopefully VSC has approved us by then!), and hope that upgrading the petition will go smoothly.

Thanks for quick reply dear...

My wife lives in boston too.

Finger cross ...when ur husband going to apply?

Oh cool! Have you been able to visit her there?

We are hoping that my husband finishes the application this weekend. We filled out most of the form over the holidays during a long train ride in Finland, but he still needs to list all the dates when he has been out of the US, and since he comes to see me every four to eight weeks, the list will take a while to compile...

Ya date are really important ...

Whats ur pd and when ur husband completing 4 years 9 months.

Check all the things properly.

Hope we get meet our love ones soon forever.

Our PD is 8 August 2011 and he already completed 4 years 9 months of residency at the end of November. He didn't want to file for citizenship immediately since we were travelling for two weeks over Christmas and he was afraid he might miss his biometrics appointment.

I hope all goes smoothly for your wife's citizenship!

Why would you need W-2 from 2012. I think Consulates would not ask for it until Mid April when official Tax Returns are due.

May be it is good to carry. I did not work in 2012 as I was in India and no W-2 to produce. Should I ask my spouse to carry my employment letter (started to work in Jan 2013 ) and pay slips for Jan-March 2013. I am expecting interview around April 2013.

Sure, Yes you can pick up in delhi or you can choose one of documents pick up center near your place. But I am thinking of staying one more day and pick up. Login to traveldocs.com and register as immigrant visa candidate.

So far documents like:

1. Sealed Medical Report

2. Original Interview Letter

3. Copies of all submitted documents to NVC

4. Most recent tax return that means 2011

5. Latest w2's from 2012

6. Pass port pictures 2 inch by 2 inch

7. Pass port new and old

8. Pictures of both of you to show relation ship

9. Greeting cards/Phone calling list/Petitioner passport with some stampings when he/she went to india

Thats all from my list, Please add if I missed anything

PD: 12/09/2010; Visa Approved: 04/29/2013

I think we need not to submit anything to VFS. NVC will be sending all your submitted original documents to the Embassy. You have to walk in to interview with mentioned documents in the interview letter. As I said before, login to the traveldoc site and choose pickup method either local pick up or courier service. Thats all i guess.

Spouse Priority Date: 10/15/2010

Case Completed: 08/30/2011

Interview Feb 06 2013
